I compose original cinematic scores for film, television and screen. My work includes two feature films, including An Taibhse and The Sleep Experiment. I specialise in emotionally driven, atmospheric scoring that enhances narrative tension and storytelling.

I’m Ally Donald, a Dublin and Brussels based cinematic music producer, mixing engineer and composer with over 20 years of experience. I work across artist production, rock and pop mixing and mastering, and original film scoring, delivering emotionally driven, modern records and soundtracks with clarity, depth and impact.
I’ve composed original scores for two feature films, including An Taibhse, the first Irish-language horror film currently gaining international festival recognition, and The Sleep Experiment. Alongside film work, I’ve produced and mixed multiple commercially released tracks and regularly pitch music for the Asian market and Eurovision.
A graduate of BIMM Dublin with a Higher Diploma from BCFE, my background also includes working as a musical director for Irish artists, shaping live performances and arrangements. My sound often blends contemporary pop with cinematic textures, subtle storytelling, and a strong sense of melody.
